ALEXANDRA L. drummer

Bruno is a great drummer! He is also a really enthusiastic and methodic teacher. I like his positive way of explaining basic and complicated concepts.
I started to play drum with Bruno and he has always had a lot of patience with me since the beginning. He also adjusted the lessons to my profile, because I already knew how to play other instruments. Bruno always gives me the opportunity to challenge myself with the drum and all the time spent on his acoustic set is inspiring and full of good music and laugh. Whenever I have a question about a rhythm or a song, he is always available for replies and he is very happy and proud when his students become so committed with the instrument.
I have been really lucky to start learning drum with him!

Bruno is a fantastic musician and a caring teacher. His patience and enthusiasm have helped me gain the confidence and imagination I couldn’t find by learning on my own. He finds the right balance between rewarding and challenging lessons, while being creative with methods and references. His passion for drums and music is inspiring and contagious, which has helped we reconnect with the instrument.

It’s great working with Bruno. His natural enthusiasm, encouragement, and playing style which crosses many genres means I have improved vastly as a drummer compared to learning by myself. It’s great that he’s still very curious about the art of drumming and passing that knowledge on, that is to be admired. Every band needs a Bruno!

Ph.D Professor DAVID G. HEBERT, Bergen Academy - Norway

"Bruno is musically and pedagogically skilled, entrepreneurially minded, and has a very patient and friendly personality. We had excellent feedback on his workshop at Høgskulen på Vestlandet in Bergen, Norway from students and teachers, including, for instance, Christopher Cayari, Lars Kolstad, Beverlyne Wanjala, Bjørnar S Førde, and Thanh Dao".

"Bruno´s teaching is well structured and is implemented with a trusting and natural musical authority. He manages convincingly to underline his pedagogical points with his own playing. In his practice, he has completed workshops in five different countries as well as developed a long termed teaching platform for his co-students at Rhythmic Music Conservatory".

It is such a pleasure to be taught by Bruno. He has a real humour and positive energy in his teaching style, yet is extremely committed to his students progress with a clear structure and goal for each lesson. He finds very clever and sensitive ways to push you beyond what you think you're capable of doing which is extremely rewarding as a student.Whats' more, due to our shared passion of the instrument - we have become really good friends in such a short period of time.

"Bruno is a very thoughtful and inventive educator.  I can recommend him as teacher and musician after meeting with him and hearing him explain his methods and approaches which he explained to a very diverse crowd of students and all of the students I spoke with afterwards were very inspired. Some of the ones I am in contact with mention having used these tools they got at Bruno’s workshop in their practice routines".

OLIVIA drummer

Studyind drums with Bruno allows me to get more insights and improve constantly, without sacrificing the passion and the enthusiasm while doing so.

I could notice big improvements since my first lessons and I can now sit behind drums with more confidence, skills and joy.

ANGELO PALMAS Director of Nuoro Jazz Seminars and Festival - Italy

"During his workshop he brought with him a solid training in pedagogical methods, along with great energy and enthusiasm. Bruno also impressed me and us with his commitment to lifelong learning. He successfully collaborated with the other teachers and took advantage of their experience and artistic and teaching skills". Nuoro Jazz Festival 2016

"It was a great experience with a lot of fun!

It was the very first time that I held a pair of drumsticks, so I was bit in doubt about of how I am going to play any coherent sound. However, from the very start, Bruno with his very positive attitude, managed to put me at ease and guide me through the basics which were very essentials for that followed. What I have foremost liked about this experience is the creative and fun ways that Bruno used to get me through my struggles of not getting the rhythm right."

MARJA HEIMONEN, University lecturer at Sibelius Academy Helsinki - Finland

"Bruno is a musically and pedagogically excellent teacher, and he is friendly and supportive to everyone. He presented his most interesting research and gave successful workshops for students and teachers. In addition, he participated actively in my research seminar and commented students’ work excellently".
